Liz Rampey grew up in Huntersville, NC, and played volleyball for CJV and North Meck High School. During her senior season, she was the Conference Player of the Year as a setter before going on to play collegiately at Western Carolina University as a defensive specialist. After graduating, she stayed on as a volunteer assistant before moving back to Charlotte to begin her “post-volleyball” career. Other than playing occasionally, she mostly took a break from competitive volleyball to homeschool her four children before returning to her alma mater to serve as the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at North Meck High School. Liz is excited to be a part of the middle school academic team and is looking forward to helping the middle school students.
