Donna Allen-Krug, Instructional Coach
Ms. Allen-Krug graduated from the University of South Florida in 1992 with a Bachelor's in Special Education, SLD (Specific Learning Disabilities), K-12, and she also holds certifications in ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages), K-12 and Reading, K-12. Later she earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership and certification in English 6-12. She taught for 30 years in Hillsborough County, Florida, at four different schools covering grades 6-12 before retiring, so she could relocate to Charlotte with her husband to reunite with their daughter. She values family and fun, so she loves spending time with them doing anything. When living in Florida, they spent most of their spare time at Disney World with many sunset trips to the beaches; however, she is looking forward to adventuring to waterfalls and discovering the beauty and charm of Charlotte, North Carolina, with her family. She enjoys reading everything and is a member of a few book clubs so that she can stay abreast of new and up-and-coming YA authors and YA books. When she's not reading, she probably has a cat nearby serenading them with her novice ukulele skills, or she's watching sports on TV as she loves the Tampa Bay Lightning, GO BOLTS! and the Buffalo Bills, GO BILLS!
