Karen Straub graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2002, and her Master's degree in Health Education and Promotion from East Carolina University in 2008. She taught middle school health & PE in Cabarrus County for 7 years, PE101 at Wingate University for 4 years and a 3-year-old preschool class for 6 years. Teaching License Status: Standard Professional Professional Health & PE. Karen lives in Concord with her husband and 2 daughters, Mackenzie and Morgan. She enjoys being with her family, going to the beach, and exploring all that NC has to offer.
