Amy Cheek (she/her/hers) graduated from UNCC with a BA in French and Theatre Arts. She is an NCDPI-licensed educator in the content areas of English Language Arts, Theatre Arts, and French. She taught French and Theatre for six years at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools before moving to Bradford Prep in 2019 to teach English IV. Her favorite topics include Early Modern theatre, 19th-century British Romantic poets, gender theory, and the interplay of religion and esotericism in literature. Mrs. Cheek runs the Dungeons & Dragons Club here at Bradford. She lives with her husband Andrew and four adorable cats. Her hobbies include reading historical fiction and fantasy, crafting, acting, and stage combat.
