Marcia earned her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Mathematics and Master's of Arts degree in Mathematics Education from UNC-Charlotte. She taught math at Providence Day School, Randolph Middle School, and West Charlotte High School before moving to East Mecklenburg High School in 1993. During her 25 years at East Meck, she was the senior class advisor and graduation director for 21 years. Marcia is also a national trainer, AP scorer, and SAT reviewer for the College Board. After 30 years with CMS, Marcia retired and joined the Bradford Prep staff in 2018. Marcia and her husband, John, have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
