Teri Perna, Fourth Grade Teacher
Mrs. Perna graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. Soon after graduating, she moved to Orange County, New York where she began teaching and received her Master's in Elementary Education. She taught 2nd, 4th and 5th grade in New York before moving back to Charlotte in 1998. She was a stay at home mom for 7 years. She spent the last 15 years teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade. She is very excited to be back in fourth grade. This is Mrs. Perna's 25th year in teaching! She has experience teaching in private, public and charter schools.
Mrs. Perna has three grown children and a dog named Winston. In her free time, Mrs. Perna loves listening to live music, kayaking, hiking and tubing in the mountains, and playing with her two grandsons, Michael and Kasen. Mrs. Perna lives in Belmont N.C.
