Amanda Davis, 8th Grade ELA Teacher
Amanda Davis-Campbell graduated with her bachelor’s degree in English from Appalachian State University and her teaching certification from UNC-Charlotte. She has worked at Lumberton Jr. High as well as Cabarrus Charter Academy before coming to Bradford in 2018. Mrs. Davis teaches 8th grade ELA and has a passion for reading and technology. She lives in Pineville with her husband, stepson, and baby girl. She enjoys reading, playing guitar, watching Marvel movies, playing video games (when she has time, which is never), and board game night with her family & friends.

8th ELA
We will be using Amplify ELA to direct our curriculum this year. This program is completely online and includes access to a digital library. Please have your student message me on Canvas with any issues they encounter using Amplify at home. Students should make sure they are using a Chrome or Fire Fox Browser to see all content.
7/8 Broadcasting & Journalism
Students will be running this project based class either creating news segments for the morning news channel or the online magazine. Each student will be graded on performance and completion of weekly/bi-weekly assignments which can be found on Canvas.
