Mr. Flemings's 7th-grade class is studying WWII and they were honored with a visit from Bradford Grandparent, Peter Bergmann. 

 

Peter Bergmann shared his story of being a child in Germany during WWII and experiencing the bombing of Dresden. Such an amazing story and so incredible to hear first-hand accounts of growing up during a tumultuous time in our history.  So wonderful to see the students engaged in the presentation and asking questions. Mr. Bergmann is proud of his heritage and he is also proud to be an American. That pride is evident in the title of his presentation... "Born in Germany, Made in America."
