Taylor Autrey has played softball at Bradford for the past three years, and she was excited to play her senior year… and then senior year arrived…The softball team lost a catcher during tryouts due to injury and were struggling to get team members due to remote learning and Covid. But…there was the basketball team members..Coach Rader shares how our student-athletes stepped in to help a fellow student... “It started with Haley and Megan and then Saleena; next thing we know, Nevaeh is jumping in feet first. It’s tremendous the amount of commitment these four have, not only to the softball team but to Taylor. The bond is special, they support her, and she appreciates them. I feel like this softball team is something unique. We haven’t won many games, but we’ve had so much fun, and everyone has learned new skills. These amazing student-athletes stepped out of their comfort zones to help a friend complete four years of softball at Bradford but more importantly, they showed what a true TEAM is made of! Great job, everyone!
