THE LAB life skills group for boys meets every Thursday during study hall. The group was created by Roger Traynham, an Upper School Counselor, to provide students with extra time to learn valuable life skills with a small group of peers. Some of the topics the group focuses on accountability, responsibility, respect, social media, academic performance, careers, finance, etc. THE LAB also consistently has guest speakers that share their success stories.
Studies have shown that the positive impact of students who participate in a life skills group develop self-confidence, a stronger sense of belonging, and a more positive attitude about school!
