Ida received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 1996 and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 1998, both at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Ida was a Speech Language Pathologist for the School District of Hillsborough County for 28 years serving students from PreK (diagnostics) to 12th grade with various special needs (Deaf Hard of Hearing, Autism Spectrum, Intellectual Disabilities, Articulation, Fluency, and Cognitive Language Disorders). Ida earned her Reading Endorsement to be able to provide additional support to students with reading difficulties. Ida loves to spend time with her three children and nine grandchildren, as well as maintaining an active social life.
