Tamara Leak was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She graduated from the University of NC at Greensboro in 2015 and received her degree in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health. Since then, she has obtained a teaching license as a Health Specialist. She has previously taught middle school Health & PE for seven years in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. During her time in CMS, she also has coached Cross Country and Track & Field and led her girl's team to win the Northern League Track Championship in 2019 at Ridge Road, MS. Tamara enjoys traveling, exercising, event planning, spending quality time with family and friends & serving the local community. She looks forward to spreading health awareness and motivating students to pursue lifetime personal wellness. Tamara currently resides in Charlotte, NC, with her dog child Nova.
